Frequently asked questions

Everything first-time artists ask us before they walk through the door.

Where is Heart to Art located?

Heart to Art is a community art studio serving Jacksonville, Florida and the surrounding beaches. Our studio address is announced on the home page — send us a message through the contact form and we will share directions and parking details for your class.

Do I need any art experience to take a class?

No. Every class is built for complete beginners as well as returning artists. The instructor walks the room step by step, and you are welcome to follow along exactly or take the project in your own direction.

What classes do you offer?

Adult painting nights, kids craft classes, watercolor workshops, pottery and mosaic sessions, coastal-inspired craft projects, and private or group lessons for birthdays, teams and special occasions.

Are art supplies included?

Yes. Canvases, paints, brushes, clay, mosaic materials and aprons are all provided in studio classes. Just bring yourself — and wear something you do not mind getting a little paint on.

How do I book a class and how do I pay?

Choose a date on the booking page, pick your seats, and complete the digital liability waiver. Seat availability updates live, so what you see on the calendar is what is actually open. Payment is collected at the studio through our point-of-sale system unless your confirmation says otherwise.

What ages are your kids classes for?

Kids craft classes are designed for elementary and middle-school-age artists. Younger children are welcome with a participating adult, and we are happy to recommend the right session if you tell us your child's age through the contact form.

Can you host birthday parties, private groups or team events?

Absolutely. Private lessons and group events can be booked for birthdays, scout troops, bridal showers, church groups, corporate team building and homeschool co-ops. Message us with your date, group size and age range and we will build the session around it.

What is your cancellation policy?

Let us know as far in advance as you can and we will move your seat to another session. Full details are on our Terms & Conditions page.

Why do I have to sign a waiver?

Studio classes involve paints, tools, kilns and other materials, so every participant (or a parent or guardian for minors) signs a short digital liability waiver during booking. It takes about thirty seconds and is stored securely with your reservation.
